When we are invited to a special occasion or event, the first think (actually question) that get through our mind is “What should I wear?”. I bet, always. Of course something elegant, but not too basic (that we can wear every day and may look boring, unnoticed). I am still the supporter of “less is more”, but that doesn´t necessarily mean boring. Essentialist, ok, but for special, not everyday situations and events we should dress with a bit of an edge. Simple, yes, but special. A best way to get that is to match your great outfit with a nice, unusual accessory, like a hat for example.
Few days ago I discovered “House of Flora”
(maybe you know it already), a fashion design and consultancy studio located in
London, specializing in avant-garde headwear for the catwalk and not only. They
regularly collaborate with Haute Couture and ready to wear designers, like
Givenchy, Bill Blass, Diane Von Furstenberg, etc. The headwear is often driven
by materials: PVC, perspex, felt, leather, wood veneer, aluminum, steel and
nylon and influenced by strong geometry and historical figures, as well as by
concepts in modern art. Beside headwear, House of Flora produces also jewelry
and an eyewear line all made in the UK. A great addition to your style; a touch
of great design that will make your look very unique, personal.
Some products are available to buy in their web-shop.

S/S 2014 headwear collection “Ping Pong”.
