There were two main elements or let´s just
say ingredients that marked Maison Martin Margiela S/S 2014 womenswear collection; on one side the
glittery-artistic world of circus, made of shiny sequins and precious jewelry
and on the other side, formality of meticulously-made garments, inspired by
menswear. Both elements were conjunct in a very smart, very artistically-Margiela,
but still very sellable and elegant unity. Unity made of enchanted cabaret
corsets, trapeze trousers, tunic-like jackets and lots of sparkly bustier
dresses and vests.
