The soundtrack of Marianne Faithfull and
Jimmy Somerville was a cool combination for a new S/S 2014 men´s collection
(industrial eighties) from self-called "not print queen", Jil Sander.
We saw what she (always) knows to do best:
nice cut, perfect proportions between what need to be loose and what fit, with
adding some molded bonded, shiny leather pieces. The color palette is mostly
black and white with some grey-ish and interrupted with a (salmon i guess)
orange, which was and still isn´t a part that i Love-d). Beside that bold color
(compared to other colors from the collection), i found also shoes from the
first part of the show too simple, quite boring.
Overall there were not any big
wow moment-s, but a nice and exquisite Jil Sander, as always she is.
