Maison Martin Margiela reinterprets the iconic leaders of the male wardrobe, creating a radical new vision and still feminine. The shape and construction of each item are derived from male gestures: the jacket carried on the shoulders, hands in his pockets, his collar turned up. This view is in the extreme volumes and shapes: the coat sleeves and double click it into the hood, jackets become dress with sleeves sewn in, and sweaters can be worn strictly with the neck covering nose and mouth.
