F/W 2012/2013 // SIMONE ROCHA
Thanks to this debut collection in the first schedule of the shows in London, Simone Rocha proves to be a design to keep an eye thanks to the skill and technique demonstrated. The collection plays with textures to create surreal and ethereal allure. For example, look vaguely street-inspired style are made in bright mirror effect leather, tweed and PVC doubled tulle decorated with tufts of wool. As if to divert attention from its dreamy vision, some unexpected items such as a removable collar made of PVC crochet dresses and incredible carved with tufts of wool are mixed with surprise at the continuing series of mini-dresses, and impeccably clean cut, mini-skirts and blouses with yoke-style signature of the designer who mixes femminineo / masculine. Inspired by the old and the new Irish tradition of the '30s, the key theme of this collection seems to be a hybrid between a primitive allure and elegance. 8
