FASHION NEWS / BALMAIN TAPS AN INSIDE MAN

The Paris fashion house announced today that Olivier Rousteing will succeed Christophe Decarnin. His previous job was at Roberto Cavalli, where he spent five years. Dependable inside talent offers continuity — why rock those Balmain beads? — and a new person a chance to surprise and lead. Will we see more such moves?
