Designer Kim Jones injected a sense of adventure into a collection replete with handsome English tailoring for young chaps.
Narrow gray suits - often three-piece and three-button - bore the influence of the Thirties, but
in modern, lightweight tweeds and worsteds. Fine-knit linings enhanced earthy-colored coats and cardigans. Occasionally a crest asserted aristocratic heritage.
Trouser hems disappeared into thick socks and mountaineering boots until thick-soled patent dress shoes helped steer the mood back to the city for evening. Pocket squares featured Trans-Siberian maps, while survival belts held pen cases and flasks – an amusing touch.
