Triskaidekaphobia

You Might Not Be Able to Pronounce Triskaidekaphobia Jewelry, but Wearing the Pieces is Easy to Do!

Text by Michelle Christina Larsen

Broken mirrors, circles of salt, ladders under which one may wander... a superstitious fear of misfortune can really harsh your mellow—but who knew it could produce such a compelling palette of accessories? Tiffany and Christina of Six Six Sick fame are adding to their legacy with Triskaidekaphobia—a jewelry collection that nods to the world's favorite superstition: The number thirteen (Can't pronounce it? Think: Triscuit-Deka-Phobia!). Comprised of metal teeth, medical bandages, and pretty leather bows, the pieces each pay tribute to what the designers describe as "irrationality and hysteria in everyday life." From a necklace born of haywire style-lines to an owl toting a blood-red stone, we can't resist the urge to flip on Twin Peaks and get a little paranoid. The line will be available at Revolve, The Moon and Mars, She Boutique, and Screaming Mimi's.
