Luisa Beccaria S/S 2010 / MFW / Day two

With a nod to Fifties Hollywood glamour, Luisa Beccaria stayed true to form with a romantic vision, along with a subtle sex appeal. Strapless or off-the-shoulder dresses in cotton eyelet or with lacy trimmings in a palette of ivory, powdery pinks and pearl grays, were ultrafeminine and evocative of Grace Kelly in her prime. Meanwhile, figure-hugging evening dresses, accessorized with the designer’s signature floral motifs, suggested the Beccaria gal is no shrinking violet.
