I've always kept an eager eye on the menswear blogosphere, delighted when a new man pushing some enviable style rears his digital head. A recent favourite is Frederic of talesfromfrederic.blogspot.com, a blog which celebrated its first birthday yesterday.
A seventeen year old Spaniard - yes seventeen - way to make me feel ancient, Frederic exhibits that distinctively European insouciant chic. My geriatric envy rolls on as Frederic reveals that most of his pieces are not high-end; Lanvin? Prada?, but vintage gems.
A seasoned charity shopper myself, Frederic trumps me as he demonstrates how a good eye can pick out classic basics from mounds of nylon patterned shirts. He's perfected the rolled up trouser, neutral layering and I think has the best array of blazers and coats that I have seen. Add to this his ability with teddy-bear print pyjama bottoms and some stupendous accessories, and I am officially glowing green with envy.
