The inspiration for Red Collar Project Spring/Summer 2010 collection is found in the novel »Great expectations« by Charles Dickens. Mr Pip is an orphan being raised by his sister and her lazy slacker of a husband. At his sister’s house, Pip is a boy without expectations. Until one day, when Pip is told he has inherited a sum of money from an anonymous benefactor, a condition of which is that he must leave for London immediately. There he must buy some clothes and become a gentleman, Pip accepts the condition. In the spring/summer collection 2010, you will find inspiration from both sides of Mr Pips life. It’s up to you to choose and make a statement between »gentleman vs. slacker«...
