And so my Australian education continues with the discovery of designer Michelle Czech, who recently won the Metamorphosis Student Showcase in Melbourne.
Of course it was the cut-out shapes featured within her collection that appealed to me the most (also reminding me of my current love of cage skirts), together with her use of volume and layering. A lovely textural effect is created, which works brilliantly with the simple colour palette consisting of yellows and greys.
I’m again focusing my attention on the leggings - another pair to add to the (imaginary) collection!
