One minute I'm talking about autumnal socks, the next cycling shorts. I'm blaming the ever-changing British weather and the havok that it's playing with my clothing choices for my contradictory atttitude. Yesterday I went summery only for it to absolutely tip it down, today I thought I'd play it safe, lobbing on layers, only to emerge from the tube begging for some form of hydration.
I'm looking to cycling shorts to present either a resolution for the few remaining days of heat we might (or might not) experience, or if not, some far-too-eager forward planning for next sumer. Seen at Calvin Klein, Jean/Phillip and Blaak Homme, I hadn't considered them a viable clothing option, what with the - distinctly mens' - problems that could arise, but with a longer length t-shirt, shirt or jacket I think they could work, and along the way perhaps inspire me to partake in some form of exercise.
I can't quite stretch to Blaak Homme's which are on sale now at farfetch.com, so I might well take up the American Apparel option to the left, or even hack the bottoms off my abandoned black skinnies. I'll leave whether they get worn or not in the unpredictable hands of mother nature....
