The designer behind this collection is Georgia Nash who is inspired by the 1950’s, all things feminine and most recently ‘The Nutcracker’. ‘The Nutcracker’ touches run throughout the collection, including a lone wooden toy soldier perching on the models' head, a good look I think you’d agree.
The use of tulle in the skirt instantly reminds me of ballet dresses and dressing up when I was little, although the sheer fabric gives the look an edge that I don’t think my mum would have approved of. The military inspired jacket with structured shoulders adds a splash of vibrant colour as well as adding a masculine twist to the otherwise feminine collection.
I love the image of the ruffled, layered coat. The movement of her hair paired with the seemingly endless fabric is a treat for the eyes.
