Ann Demeulemeester S/S 2010 men

Leaving behind the influential, rustic poets of a year ago, Demeulemeester delivered a cosmopolitan collection that, despite its soft and flowing fabrics, was streetwise and even pugilistic, as seen in hooded silk robes, ankle-laced sneakers and billowy, sateen sportswear battened down by wide leather belts and cummerbunds. Other tough-guy accessories included army boots and leather necklaces resembling barbed wire. The palette was restricted to black, white and peach. And shirts, save for a couple of screen-printed tops, were deemed superfluous.
